About Miss Alana
Miss Alana has been dancing since the age of two and, since then, it has truly become a lifelong passion. She danced for North Shore Dance Academy as a competitive student as well as taking a variety of extra dance classes, in her free time, at Gene Murray School of Dance. She began teaching dance for the Sterling YMCA in Beverly, MA as a high school senior. Miss Alana worked tirelessly to develop the same passion that she had for dance, in her students. This led her to eventually establish a dance team. Later, she felt it was time to expand her career as a dancer and dance instructor. Now, her teams have progressed into student dance companies and have taken up residence at Creative Arts Dance Conservatory in Essex, MA. Miss Alana’s dance teams and companies have earned many special recognitions at various dance competitions in recent years.
Miss Alana graduated from the Dance Teachers Club of Boston Training School in 2007. She holds a Certificate in Dance Education and an Associates Degree in Dance, Magna Cum Laude, from Northern Essex Community College. Miss Alana also graduated from Salem State University with a Bachelor of Science, also in Dance, Cum Laude. Miss Alana has also had the opportunity to dance and act in various music videos and films internationally.
